Violinlessons in and around Brookline, MA

Lianne van den Berg recently moved to Brookline and is offering violin lessons to all ages and all levels!

The lessons take place in the comfort of your own home!

Biography

Lianne has been teaching violin for years with great passion and enthusiasm.
She attended the retreat for violin and viola teachers at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. This is a ten-day pedagogical workshop based on learning methods by Suzuki and Paul Rolland, among others.

Lianne took volumes 1, 2, 3, of the Suzuki training, as wel as practicum and a grouplesson module with Professor Edward Kreitman in Hartford, CT. She is a member of the SAA (Suzuki Association of the Americas).

Furthermore, she took courses in Remscheid, Germany, with Kerstin Wartberg, director of the German Suzuki Institute and Charles Krigbaum (North Texas School of Talent Education).

Originally from the Netherlands, Lianne played in the North Netherlands Symphony Orchestra in Groningen for 13 years and had her own private studio.

The violin lesson will take place in the comfort of your own home.

All places in a radius of 3 miles from Coolidge Corner, Brookline: no travel costs.

Over 3 miles travel, an extra charge of 5 dollars per lesson applies.

Prices

39 dollars for half an hour,

58 dollars for 45 minutes,

78 dollars an hour.

conditions

Lessons are given in a block of four and have to be paid in advance, with exception of the first lesson.

Cancellation policy: If cancelled within 24 hours of notice, the lesson has to be paid.
